Blackberry Stuff Coming Soon - And One to Tide You Over
As anyone who has known me over the last year is well aware, I AM A BLACKBERRY ADDICT. I currently have 6 different streaming music apps installed, which I am playing the **** out of, and will be posting reviews of each in the upcoming days. With a full comparison article to come at a later date.
Also in the works are reviews of alternate browsers (the Blackberry Browser is just a glorified cell phone browser), Weather apps, GPS apps, and an interesting surprise.
For the time being, here’s 4info.com. 4info is a SMS messaging service that sends all sorts of customized info at times that you determine. And it’s FREE. Every morning, I receive a Word of the Day, Today in History, and a Superstiton of the day (because I’m weird like that). You can receive sports scores, weather, tv show reminders, almost any kind of information you want. And since it utilizes Standard SMS, it will work on most phones, not just Blackberrys.
Just remember that any SMS fees that your Carrier charge will be applicable. For many of us with Blackberry’s, this is not a problem, as we have unlimited SMS. :-)
