This brain teaser was allegedly created by Albert Einstein in the late 19th century, who (allegedly) claimed that only 2% of people can solve it correctly. I solved it in about 7 minutes, but made (correct) assumptions and then doublechecked the facts. My girlfriend took over an hour, but worked only with the facts, she made no assumptions.
