Use Your Blackberry as a Flashlight (Free!)
Why spend $0.99 - $3.99 for an app to use your blackberry as a flashlight, when you can do it for free with this handy tip!
If you have a video camera enabled Blackberry (as most of the current models are) you have a flashlight feature built right in (sort of)… Start up the video camera, press the “space” key, and voila! the superbright flash LED stays on until you hit the “space” key again. To make it even simpler for future use, while in the Video Camera, press the Blackberry Menu key, select “Options,” and set “Video Light” to “On.” Now, whenever you start the Video Camera, the light is already on. A One-Click Flashlight for Free!
***Warning: Extended use will severely drain your battery!***
If you have any useful Blackberry tips of your own, be sure to let us know in the comments.

Bruce Campbell Confirms Evil Dead Remake
In an interview TVOvermind.com, Bruce Campbell puts to rest the ideas of another Evil Dead sequel, but gives a few tidbits about the remake:
As for the status of the Evil Dead series, Bruce had some interesting news regarding the possibility of a sequel. “There’s really no sequel for Evil Dead planned right now. We are going to forge ahead and do the remake; we are going to do that. There’s nothing for me in the remake, though, do you know what I mean? That’s a cast of young people. So I’ll be on as the producer but I won’t be in it other than playing the old guy at the bait store at the beginning.”

Darlton Hints at How LOST Will End
from: Sunday Mercury
Lost masterminds Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have been dropping hints about how the show will end next spring.
Among the mysteries unravelled in the very last episode will be the significance of the four-toed statue, what the Smoke Monster really is and who the skeletons in the cave were.
(We reckon Egyptian fertility goddess Taweret, conscience and Penny & Desmond respectively, for what it’s worth!)
Says Cuse: “The end of the show will be a combination of trying to answer mysteries the audience still cares about, such as the statue and the Smoke Monster.
“We’ll also be answering the skeletons in the cave question. We will answer the questions we feel are important and central to the plot.
“At the same time we will be trying to tell redemption stories about the characters. These characters do indeed have a destiny.

May the fourth be with you!
Happy Star Wars Day!
May 4 is one of several Star Wars Days; “geek holidays” which celebrate all things Star Wars. This date was chosen because of a pun, or play on words based on the similarity between “May the 4th be with you” and “May the force be with you”, a phrase often spoken in the Star Wars movies.
Despite efforts to start a Jedi Church with 4 May as its Star Wars Day, as of 4 May 2009 there is no religion-supporting organization that promotes 4 May as Star Wars Day.
Typical festivities consist of inviting fellow Star Wars-obsessed friends to stay over, and then watching the series of films in succession. Lots of snacks, bring lightsabers and Star Wars-themed toys. Lightsaber fights in the early morning hours optional.
Other Star Wars Days include:
Universal Day of the Jedi - May 25
Life Day - Nov 17
Come back on those days to read more!

Peek-A-Boo - Take Multiple Pictures With Your Blackberry Camera With One Click
Peek-A-Boo
Price: FREE
Version: 0.1.2
Size: 15.2 KB
URL: http://www.berrycoder.com
OTA URL: http://www.berrycoder.com/peekaboo.jad
Peek-A-Boo is a cool, very small app for taking 4 photos with one click from your Blackberry. Simply click the icon on your home screen (or assign it to a Convenience Key), and it opens the camera app, taking four pictures in succession, and then closing the camera. I would like to say rapid succession, but it is limited to the speed of the Blackberry camera. Very cool and useful nonetheless. I see a lot of potential for it.
